I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Wealthsimple in Oct 2024
Interview
2 step interview process. 1st is Pair Programming interview which is basically a technical live coding challenge. I won't go deep into the technicalities of the problem, but similar to the one mentioned by other reviewers. They really want to see your collaboration and communication skills in this round rather than a clear-cut answer.
2nd round was a Project Showcase round where you have to present a project you are most proud of. A project that demonstrates the skills and qualities they are looking for an intern and how well you'd fit with the company culture and standard behavioural questions around your project.
The timeline between each process was about a week or so from application to offer.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wealthsimple (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2025
Interview
3 rounds, First round talked to a recruiter, second round technical interview. Third round present a project.
The technical interview was an object-based question on stocks. You were given an object of different transactions and had to return the cash you had left and the amount of each stock bought.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Wealthsimple (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2024
Interview
First round interview was a technical coding round that was similar to matching buy and sell orders. You can find this on leetcode. You can pick any language. Interviewer was nice.
