Exactly the same experience as the prior comments.
Interviewed for a role to replace another blonde ex-project assistant doppelganger who fled the company after several months in a PA role.
Within the first five minutes, the HR rep rudely asked why I bothered reentering for a position when unsuccessful the previous time? More thinly veiled classist personal questions followed addressing by “background” and why my career of short-term contracts during two recessions and a period of mental ill health was an “active decision” on my part? When quizzed about long-term goals my mention of wanting to transfer into Access and Inclusion work was met with an awkward silence. When I quizzed them about their sustainability, environmental and ethics policies I was met with the feeble reply of “oh yes…I think we have someone looking into that”.
They didn’t even bother to send a rejection letter.
