The standard process for William Blair is two phone screens with a second-year analyst and associate respectively, then a Super Day in the office of potential employment. The Super Day will involve up to 8 interviews with members of the official hiring committee. They are huge on fit but do not neglect studying for technical aspects of the interview.

30 minute interview session set up through email. Was expecting 1/2 behavioral and 1/2 technical but ended up being completely behavioral. Had the classic TMAY, why William Blair, why Investment Banking, and why [industry group]. Also asked other basic behavioral questions about times you led a group and more.

When is a time that you managed multiple deadlines in order to get something done an dhow did you deal with it?
30 minute interivew virtually. Consisted of 2/3 behavioral and 1/3 technical. It was very conversational and I had a few minutes at the end to ask him questions as well.
