I was contacted by email quite soon after applying and was given an opportunity to engage with the Designer-In-Chief and two other employees online. I was asked to provide some background info, specifically related to the Finance sector, but after 2-3 minutes was interrupted by the main interviewer. In fact, he did all of the talking, leaving the others silent for the rest of the interview. He exhibited signs of impatience and frustration, interrupting my answers, aggressively seeking specific answers without providing a framework. When providing clarity about the questions he asked, he was not shy about saying that my 'answers were wrong' and providing answer himself to what I 'should have said instead'. This went on for a total of 15 min. after which the interview quickly ended.
I have interacted with similarly aggressive entrepreneurs before and recognize the short-tempered responses, vague allusions, and occasional foul language, all of which appear to indicate a highly pro-active yet unempathetic approach to management, with undertones of narcissistic ambition and erratic decision-making. Only pleasant to work with if you are similarly inclined towards short-term success at the expense of social etiquette or have a tough emotional defense mechanism that can stand an attack.
