After being contacted for an interview, I spent nearly an hour explaining my career journey, answering questions, and providing detailed insights into my background and skills. Following this, I was asked to complete a lengthy written questionnaire that essentially duplicated everything we had already discussed during the interview. To make matters worse, the deadline to complete this task was unreasonably short—less than 24 hours and during a busy workday.
Despite making the effort to meet this tight timeframe, I never received any follow-up, feedback, or updates about the status of my application. My attempts to get clarity or ask questions were ignored, leaving me feeling completely ghosted.
It’s especially disappointing that this experience came from a company focused on recruitment—a field where professionalism and good communication should be fundamental. It’s a shame that a recruitment app, whose mission should be to set the standard for hiring practices, would exhibit such poor recruitment habits.
This process left a very negative impression. As a candidate, I invested significant time and effort and expected to be treated with respect and transparency. I hope you’ll take this feedback seriously to improve your recruitment practices and provide a better experience for future candidates.
