    Personal Training Coordinator Interview

Anonymous Employee in Desert Hot Springs, CA
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience
    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at World Gym (Desert Hot Springs, CA) in February 2014.

    Interview

My interview was very straight forward and professional. They weren't hiring at the time so I had fully expected management to be hesitant in seeing me. To my surprise I was interviewed on the spot (and quite thoroughly) by the club's Operation's Manager and was asked to return the next day to start.

    Application

I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at World Gym (San Francisco, CA) in January 2013.

    Interview

The interview process was straight forward and pretty standard for what you'd expect when applying for a personal trainer position. Since they require a nationally accredited certification they weren't as concerned with your training knowledge as they were with your interpersonal skills. After the initial interview I was asked to come back and complete a practical.
