I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at World Health Organization (Geneva)
Interview
I applied online through the web application portal, and then was contacted by email about a month and a half later from the specific department for a 1-1 phone interview. It lasted about 20 minutes, and had standard interview questions-- why you want to intern at WHO, why you're interested in health issues, etc.

Straightforward, just one interview with HR over phone which didn’t last longer than 45 minutes. Pleasant experience and did not create too much hassle for me. The offer was made very soon so I didn’t have to wait around for a long time.

Interview
Fairly simple process with obvious interview questions. It was approx. 30 minutes long and mostly addressed my technical skills. The interviewer seemed to talk more than me and mostly explained why I should become a member in her team.
