I went through a screening for a role with this company and was moved along to an interview with an executive. That interview was canceled by the executive and I was told I'd hear back about rescheduling. Took a couple weeks to hear that there were no updates about rescheduling and that I would receive news soon. After that happened a few more times, they posted a restructured HR posting and I only found out that I wasn't being considered anymore because I stepped up and asked. That's a waste of over a month of my time.
This poor communication, lack of consideration for the talent they are bringing into the organization and the lack of preparation for making sure you post the correct role that you need, the first time around is telling me that this organization needs a more Senior HR Professional to own their recruitment process, instead of going more junior. Your culture starts from the moment a candidate applies.
The reviews from external candidates like myself and the reviews from their internal personnel are screaming the same thing to the leadership of this company. I can accept not being the best candidate for a role. This is a case of the company not having their ducks in a row and not putting the right people in charge of this particular process.
