I interviewed at Xaxis
two rounds of interviews in total, one with HR and one with two people on the hiring team. People are nice and friendly, mostly behavioral questions, with some technical questions regarding the tools that the job requires.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Xaxis (London, England) in Apr 2022
The Interview process was initially 2 step with the Hiring Manager round and Panel presentation and discussion however a third round was added after the 2 steps radically without any explanation of why it’s been added to the process. Also they keep on giving positive/very positive feedback until they stretched the timeline to 4 weeks from initial 2 weeks timeline and finally saying that they like me so much that they won't move ahead with it.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Xaxis (Milan)
3 steps 1. Colloquio conoscitivo in cui si parla del background e qualche domanda tecnica semplice 2. Colloquio tecnico con assessment da completare - la chiacchierata molto interessante e stimolante 3. Colloquio motivazionale

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Xaxis
Standard. 1. recruiter call 2. coderpad / hackerrank thing 3. behavioral w/ VP of unit 4. "on-site" technical round The entire process was great until the on-site portion. The hackerrank (they use Codility) was straightforward and LC easy/mediums. It all went downhill fast for the on site portion. Two of the interviewers seemed helpful (albeit burnt out) but the third I could only describe as combative and hostile. It started when i was covering my experience and he was making strange faces which started to give me pause. I was really thrown off when we started the live coding portion because he would not let me get a thought in without cutting me off, talking over me, interrupting my thought process the entire time. This was for a junior level position. the third guy wasnt supposed to be on the call so i got the vibe he joined in an effort to short circuit the interview (idk why). All in all, glad it happened, dude seems like a nightmare to work under.
- Straight forward questions. LC Easy/Medium.

Anonymous Employee in Detroit, MI
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Xaxis (Detroit, MI) in Oct 2021
Very short and sweet. Just do your research to know what position you’re applying for. They tend to hire those without experience and have a good training process. This is a good place to shift careers or start one after college.
- Do you have experience in excel?

Anonymous Employee
I interviewed at Xaxis
It was a very chill interview, they asked me to give a brief background about myself and gave a few situationers. Had around 3 interviews. No case analysis and alike. The director is the one that first reached out so that gave me the impression that they're very hands-on with who they employ.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in New York, NY
I applied online. I interviewed at Xaxis (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
I applied online with a referral from a company employee. was asked to schedule a phone screen 3 hours later. Standard good-natured 30 min. interview. Did not schedule the technical interview until 4 weeks later. Took the test. Did not hear back.

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Singapore
I applied online. I interviewed at Xaxis (Singapore) in May 2021
The interview took about 45min, thought it went okay. But I did not get a single reply or update of my application status. I am disappointed. It has been more than a month since my interview but I receive no update from the HR side. Though the interviewer was nice, made the promise to get back within the same week but it has been a month.
- how do u cope wfh

Anonymous Employee
I interviewed at Xaxis
Interview was average and standard not many interesting questions. Seems like each person asks you the same type of thing. Would like to see more diversity in the people doing the interviewing, everyone was the same.
- What are your strength and weaknesses?

Anonymous Interview Candidate
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Xaxis in Feb 2021
Received a link to schedule a phone screen with HR. Recruiter was late to call and eating or something throughout the whole interview so I could barely understand her. Was told I was a great fit for the position and that I would hear back about next steps in a few days. NEVER HEARD ANYTHING. Emailed to follow-up 3 times over several weeks. Never received a response. Logged into my Jobvite portal to learn I was “not selected.”
