I withdrew my application during the HR screening call. The process felt poorly handled. The HR screen did not feel well prepared, and several questions came across as assumption-based rather than grounded in my CV. I also felt my relevant financial services and product experience was not properly recognised during the discussion. A mandatory Wonderlic cognitive/personality assessment was disclosed only at the end of the screening call. I was not comfortable proceeding with that type of assessment after the initial interaction, especially as the process also included further interviews and a case study. Overall, the process gave me concerns about the company’s hiring approach and culture fit.
