The process started with the standard 15 minute. I then got told I had to do a 2 hour (according to them) SQL test and some behaviour/cognitive ability test to even get to the next stage. Fine, did those, and fortunately the SQL test was not that long.
Next stage I meet for an hour and a half, which for this stage was excessive. They then asks me all range of questions starting from my experience in my degree, what I liked/disliked, would I change anything. Completely irrelevant line of questioning for the role. I graduated four years ago, I barely remember most of the content of my degree, and none of it is applicable for the role. So 90% of the questions in this interview are tailored towards experience which is not relevant anymore. I have never heard of such thorough, irrelevant questioning like this.
And of course at the end of the process I get the standard copy and paste "we are not progressing your application" email from the careers team. No feedback or any indication why I did not progress.
An overall poorly thought out interview process, with no consideration for candidates time, generic questioning, and laziness from everyone involved.
Don't waste your time like I did and apply for a company which puts proper thought and effort into their recruitment.
