Interviewers were nice, the interview was really long (around 1 hour), it was focused on behavioural questions and questions regarding data analysis and policy experience. It was rigidly structured, they had prepared the questions in advance and decided the order, which meant sometimes they would ask me a question about something I had already talked about, so I repeated myself a few times.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yorkshire Cancer Research in Jun 2024
Interview
One virtual interview and one in-person interview with HR and the hiring manager. They asked me about my work experience and knowledge of working in the charity sector. The head office is lovely and convenient to get to.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Yorkshire Cancer Research (Harrogate, England) in Nov 2024
Interview
Structure of the interview was very formal, with HR and hiring manager. There were a set of 7 questions that they had to ask me - some specific to the role, others more generic. They did not seem very interested in myself as a person, only my experience relevant to the role so seemed quite impersonal and very corporate like which was surprising given the nature of the company. I did not get offered a 2nd interview for this role, and was told my experience couldn't be faulted but I didn't show enough interest in the charity itself, which is why they didn't want to proceed with my application.
