I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando in Apr 2019
Interview
The process consisted of 7 rounds.
First there in a skype call with the recruiter where they ask some basic question about you. Followed by a codility test where you are given question to be solved in 45 mins.
After that you have a skype interview which consisted of half hour coding (with testing) and half hour theory questions. The interviewer was very good.
Received an email after 15 days that I passed and now there will be 4 back to back skype interviews (1 hr each )in a single day.
1st round was pure coding with the interviewer on Codility. I was not able to solve the question but was given feedback on the spot that I was able to find all the edge cases and feedback was very good.
2nd one was a design interview where I was asked to design a shopping cart functionality. The interviewer was very good here also as he specified there is no correct and this is an open ended architecture discussion.
3rd was another HR round where they generally see how good cultural fit you are.
Last one was with the tech lead where we discussed various approaches of solving the different issues in android, company benefits etc.
Got an email after 2 weeks that I was selected and HR sent the offer.
