I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Zara (Burnaby, BC) in Feb 2013
Interview
Zara has an online application form but my suggestion is to come into the store, fill out a paper application, and ask to speak with the manager (of the department you wish to work for). I went to the women's department so was assigned there instead of men's when I got hired despite being a male employee.
After 3-4 weeks, I received a call from a manager and was asked to come in for a 1:1 interview. They will ask you several questions about customer service and about your knowledge of Zara and current fashion trends.
They have a minimum of 3 professional references required and THEY WILL call all of them before making a decision to hire you.
super casual, just stand in front of a store,
it does not show the exact job title on job posting
like, job posting mentioned that hiring the full time sales, they actually hire the 2 months contract sales and part time
Visited the store and inquired about hiring opportunities. I was connected with the hiring manager and completed a straightforward in-person interview. The process was professional, welcoming, and provided insight into the role.
Group interview in their office in oxford street, just had to complete tasks together. Did a presentation and problem solving. Heard back from them in a week that I had got the offer.
