I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Zara (Toronto, ON) in May 2014
Interview
In-store interview, asked a few questions, must provide 2 paid references from previous work experience. Research a lot about Zara and how it operates. Stock is replenished on a biweekly basis, items move fast and are replaced by new ones. Know about its competitors. Know about what the position entails and what your function would be within the company. As long as you do your research you will be OK!
It was rather straight forward. I applied online. I didn't hear anything for a while, maybe a month. One day, I got a call inviting me for an interview, I was asked if I could come in that day, adn I was able. At the end of the interview, I was offered the job.

lengthy and tedious, i don't see that a fashion sense is a requirement to gain employment. was ghosted as far as follow-up communication. did not ask many questions about past retail experience
