I applied in-person. I interviewed at Zara (New York, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
They called me about 3-4 months after applying. I had a group interview with four other people and it was easygoing. The manager and store staff were friendly and welcoming. The whole interview only lasted about 20 minutes.
I don't know exactly what they look for, seeing that I'm a college graduate with retail and fashion experience, and I was the most qualified of the group, yet I wasn't offered a position. However, I still think it's a great company to work for if given the opportunity.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were pretty basic and straight forward: why do you want to work here? Tell me about yourself...
lengthy and tedious, i don't see that a fashion sense is a requirement to gain employment. was ghosted as far as follow-up communication. did not ask many questions about past retail experience

Question 1
if a customer was having trouble finding something right infront their face how would i respond
super casual, just stand in front of a store,
it does not show the exact job title on job posting
like, job posting mentioned that hiring the full time sales, they actually hire the 2 months contract sales and part time
Visited the store and inquired about hiring opportunities. I was connected with the hiring manager and completed a straightforward in-person interview. The process was professional, welcoming, and provided insight into the role.
