I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at adidas (Portland, OR) in Feb 2014
Interview
Excellent process. Recruiter was very sharp. I was kept up to date on all movement, and the process was enjoyable. The recruiter called multiple times, helped me prepare for the interview, met me at the campus and gave me a tour. After the interview, which was a panel of 6 people, the recruiter followed up asking how I felt about it, and whether or not I felt like I was able to convey what I wanted to. I felt like I was given the best shot I could have been.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at adidas (Herzogenaurach) in Dec 2023
Interview
You are requested to do a design during 10 days. There is no feedback on your project and no compensation for the free work. Of course there is no guarantee that your project will be used by them.
Had to bring a portfolio, do a test project, and a "creative project about myself". After spending time on these things and traveling to Portland, I found out there was no real job available and the interviewees didn't even know what job I was there for.
Interview questions [1]
