Question 1
How would I handle a colleague not doing their work
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at adidas (Zaragoza) in Sep 2023
Interview
It was a short and efficient selection process: first a brief introduction meeting to align expectations, followed by a technical interview, and finally a practical technical test to assess my skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at adidas (Amsterdam) in Jun 2020
Interview
I was referred by a friend, then a recruiter reached out to me to plan an intro call. Up until then it went smooth, but from the intro call onwards it was a messy process where calls were planned and the recruiter didn't show up, had to send multiple emails to ask for a follow-up because he never got back to me as promised. The first interview with other designers was nice, but challenging. After that interview again, the recruiter never followed up and in the end he finally emailed me back saying they'd hired someone else. Very unprofessional. Applicants put in a lot of time and effort in to making a good impression, showing up on time, and doing an overall good job. It's a waste of time with this company and during the process I already lost interest. If this is how the company works, I rather find a different workplace.
