computers plus interview questions

I entered the shop and asked about internships. I was told to send the owner an email with the title "intern" that included a filled generic job application I find on the internet. I completed two versions and kept the one with the neatest handwriting. Scanned it and gave some reasons why I would like to work there in the email. I received a reply in a few hours asking me if I'd like to come in for an interview and when. I arrived Monday morning and he took me to the back and showed me my work station. He then said and asked "So, how's that was for an interview?" and shook my hand. He said that what impressed him the most was that I submitted the application the same day I came in asking about it.
