I applied for a position as an R&D Engineer Formulations.
I had one interview with a representative from the HR department and the head of the research and development department. The conversation lasted almost an hour and was very interesting from a technical point of view. We discussed job responsibilities, the work of the research and development department, and some issues in this area.
What I liked most was that after the interview, they took the time to give me feedback. Unfortunately, this does not happen very often in the hiring process.
A small note: there were fewer technical questions during the first interview than I expected. However, this may simply reflect the structure of their hiring process and the fact that it was the first interview.
Although I was not selected to proceed further, the overall experience was very positive. If this is the level of respect and professionalism they show towards candidates, I can only assume that the internal culture towards employees is even better.
