From the beginning the process was a mess. The VP spammed my inbox with messages and when I finally responded they told me that they don’t actually want to fill a role right now. The VPs appeared stressed out and they said the economy is very negatively impacting them, which is a bad sign from the get-go. The rest of the interview was a mess of randomness. The math sheet didn’t reflect questions relevant to the role they originally mentioned, and was better fit for an integrated or traditional media planner position. The interview process was mismanaged, questions felt entirely random, pay was extremely poor, there was frequent ghosting, everyone I spoke with seemed clueless and they were all very unhelpful throughout. You can tell the employees don’t want to be there, and if the interview was a sign of how the agency is managed then I was done a great service staying at my current agency.
