Applied online and had a 30 minute call scheduled quickly. Moved on to video call with the director of the department. From there it was a panel interview with several directors. After that absolute silence, I assume they went with another candidate but was fairly annoyed that they didn't even send an email to confirm.
Four interviews stretched out over multiple months. First a preliminary call, then a solo interview, followed by a panel interview and final call with head of department. Long pause in hiring process.

The whole process was done over about a 2 week period, and the interviews themselves accumulated to about 2.5 hours of time commitment outside of any preparation.
