trivago Data Scientist - Algorithm Engineer interview questions

I applied online on trivago website. A few days later I was contacted by a recruiter sending me a case study on some data which I had to complete in one week. Several days after I submitted the case study I was contacted again to set up a Skype interview. After the first Skype interview they said they were moving on with other candidates, but overall there should have been another Skype call and an onsite interview before the job offer.
