Position Overview
River Brook Construction is seeking an experienced, highly organized Residential Construction Project Manager / Superintendent to join our growing team. This role is critical to the success of our projects and our client experience.

The Superintendent is responsible for leading job sites from start to finish while maintaining quality, schedule, budget, and safety standards across multiple high end residential projects.

This role is ideal for someone who takes ownership, notices details others miss, and believes excellence!

River Brook’s office is located in Homewood, Alabama. We are currently seeking to fill this role in the Nashville market; however, we remain open to strong candidates located in the Birmingham area. Depending on the candidate's location, the position will oversee projects within the surrounding region and will require periodic travel to job sites. The ideal candidate is comfortable working both in the office and in the field while managing multiple active projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all on site construction activities for multiple custom residential projects
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and labor crews
• Ensure all work aligns with approved plans, specifications, and River Brook quality standards
• Collaborate closely with in house architects, designers, and project managers
• Manage project schedules, materials, and deliveries to maintain efficiency and momentum
• Maintain accurate daily logs, schedules, and documentation
• Enforce OSHA standards and River Brook safety policies on all job sites
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with building codes and best practices
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear and professional updates
• Lead and participate in morning meetings to set daily goals and expectations
• Proactively identify issues and resolve them before they impact schedule or budget

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years experience as a Residential Construction Superintendent
• Proven experience managing high end custom residential projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and building codes
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience using Buildertrend or similar construction management software
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality
