Mission Baylor College of Medicine is a health sciences university that creates knowledge and applies science and discoveries to further education, healthcare and community service locally and globally.

Description Baylor College of Medicine trains 3,000 medical, graduate, nurse anesthesia, and physician students, as well as residents and post-doctoral fellows each semester. The private college has a full-time faculty of about 1,700. BCM, founded in 1900, offers 90 research and patient care centers and is affiliated with eight teaching hospitals (The Methodist Hospital, Texas Children's Hospital, The Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, The Menninger Clinic, St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, M.D. Anderson, DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Memorial Hermann, and Ben Taub General).
