Description The Academy of Oriental Medicine at Austin (AOMA) offers a Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree program. The program includes includes acupuncture and moxibustion training, Chinese herbology, taichi and qigong, Oriental nutrition, biomedical sciences, and clinical training experience of more than 1,000 hours. Class size at the school is limited to less than 30 students. The program can be completed in three years and one term, though some students choose a four or five year track. AOMA was founded in 1993 as the Texas Acupuncture Institute.
