Computer Modelling Group (CMG) provides engineering software and consulting services to the energy exploration industry. Among its numerical simulators for reservoir management, CMG's GEM, IMEX, STARS, and WinProp packages can be used for conventional oil and gas exploration, while IMEX and STARS can also be employed for heavy-oil exploration. For three-dimensional visualization animation, CMG offers its Builder series and Results applications. More than 300 customers use CMG's reservoir simulation software. The company has offices in Canada, Dubai, the UK, the US, and Venezuela, with distributors in more than 40 other countries. CMG gets half of its revenues outside North America.
