I worked at Davy full-time
If you want to work in financial services in Ireland this is by far the most competitive firm. It is the big fish in a small pond.
Management is aware that employees have few competitive options in the financial services industry in Ireland, and this is exploited. Salaries are good, but weak relative to larger financial centers. The firm is run for the equity holders, which is a closed shop for those who were employed post the management buy out. As a result, there is little employee turnover within the large number of equity holders, which restricts promotion and career opportunities for new employees.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Davy (Dublin, Co. Dublin (Ireland)) in August 2017.
Fast second round days after. Final response took the longest but they said no exactly when they said they'd no by. Fair enough. Second round was most HR talking the operations person just sat back the whole time.
