Nearly a century ago, our founders’ passion to make mining safer convinced Thomas Edison to help invent our first product – the electric-cap lamp -- which saved countless lives. Thousands of products later, our hardworking associates are steadfastly carrying on a mission to protect people at work: a mission that has remained unchanged since MSA’s beginnings.

The company's comprehensive line of products includes self-contained breathing apparatus, fixed gas and flame detection systems, portable gas detection instruments, industrial head protection products, fire and rescue helmets, and fall protection devices.
