We're proud to be home to Employee Resource Groups (ERG's) such as: Jades (our Asian Gems), Prisms (our LGBTQ identified Gems), and Obsidian (our Black Gems); we regularly run anonymous surveys to ensure all of our Gems feel a strong sense of belonging; and we hold company-wide DE&I forums to respond to what's happening outside Gem's doors.

I applied online. I interviewed at Gem (United States)
Interview
One of the strangest interviews I have ever had. Had to create a presentation for a mock QBR to present to the Gem team who was acting as if they were a long term customer of Gem. When we got into the presentation , they took the angle of never utilizing Gem and having no interest in Gem. Which completely defeated the purpose of a typical QBR, which usually goes over performance and usage. This should have been communicated as this was a retention call or a sales pitch (since most of the team stated they never even heard of Gem). This made the whole presentation difficult considering the only ammo I had was the very basic information I learned about of Gem online. Also started to make me think that if there interview process is all about trying to retain customers, that must mean that will be the majority of your job.How did you think you did on the presentation? No other questions to learn about my experience.
