    Positive Outlook

I worked at Gilbert Public Schools (More than 8 years)

    Pros

A district that holds the highest level of integrity and desire to seek only the absolute best for students to succeed in all facets of their academic career.

    Cons

Budgetary constraints made many employees not see a raise in over seven years, however, because this is such a good district it is what kept many employees in place.

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Gilbert Public Schools.

    Interview

The school secretary called to set up an interview time with me and the principal. The principal asked me some standard and situational questions since this was a for a special education position. I was allowed to observe the classroom and meet with the special education staff after the interview. The principal followed up over email about the hiring decision after 1-2 weeks.

    Interview Questions

    • Imagine that it's your first day of work. A bus has arrived late and there are 30 students needing to be checked in for attendance. There is an angry parent wishing to speak to the principal. Your desk phone is ringing and someone just told you there is a dog running loose on campus. How would you deal with the situation?   Answer Question
