PDI Software – Why Work For Us?

What’s the best part of your job at PDI?

There are so many things I enjoy about my job. What tops the list is the ability to work with people around the world to produce tangible results and being able to interact with our amazing customer base to drive our roadmap and development.

PDI values every employee's work/life balance. What do you do for fun outside of work?

I am an avid attendee of Orange Theory Fitness, attending 5-6 days a week. Fitness is really important to me, and PDI is a great supporter of this effort allowing me the flexibility in my schedule to accommodate my passion.

What initially attracted you to PDI?

PDI's fast growing pace in an international market along with an approachable and available leadership team.

What’s the best part of your job at PDI?

For me the best part is not knowing what’s going to happen next. As the Operations Manager, I am constantly moving from one project to another, and for me, not having a mundane set routine makes for a pleasant work life. The occasional traveling is also a plus!

What do you think makes PDI unique?

PDI's company culture. PDI is a very open environment which encourages us to follow new ideas and try new ways to complete tasks.

If you could say one thing to future applicants, what would it be?

I would tell them to apply! The work here is very rewarding, and the people are great!

What initially attracted you to PDI?

PDI’s focus on technology and software. After some research and talking to a few of their customers I was amazed by the quality and reputation of the company. During my interview process, I was impressed by how everyone spoke about PDI. What left the biggest impression wasn’t what they said, but how it was said – genuinely.

What's the best part of your job at PDI?

The people I work with. On my first day, I was welcomed and immediately made to feel like one of the team. I also believe everyone at our office is here to make each day better than the last.

What do you think makes PDI unique?

A drive to succeed that is embraced by every person at the organization. Not a single day goes by where I haven’t seen everyone in the office working hard to make this a better company. This is the first organization I’ve been a part of to seriously embody their values in order to make every engagement a positive experience for employees and customers.

PDI is a relationship-driven, values-based company. Our beliefs - rooted in trust, respect, community, and dedication - combined with our progressive and innovative software designs, strike the perfect balance for our business.

Many companies tout putting “people first” but at PDI, we walk the talk. Every PDI team member is encouraged to grow professionally and personally. PDI helps by providing job, leadership, and communication training through a variety of team-based and individual opportunities.

When a new employee begins their career at PDI they become more than just an employee in a new job – they become part of a team, family, and community of individuals committed to excellence and integrity in every aspect of their lives.

Community – Here at PDI, we strive to make our work environment and teams feel like a family. We actively contribute to local communities with many philanthropic efforts, such as Children’s Miracle Network and the Un-Included Club. Additionally, at many of our office locations we have employee-led teams that participate in recreational leagues such as kick-ball and bowling.

Location – Searching for an opportunity to live and work in a big city? Craving the feel of a small town? Are you wanting to expand your horizons and travel to locations across the globe? Then look no further! At PDI, we have office locations that fit every need. From Atlanta, GA to Temple, TX, or Vienna, Austria to Chennai, India, we offer roles in more than 15 locations around the world.

Vacation – Working hard is important in every professional environment. However, we understand our lives are beyond the nine-to-five. With six paid holidays and unlimited, flexible PTO, we provide our teams ample time away to recharge their batteries. Additional time off, such as bereavement, sabbatical, and volunteer time-off are also offered.

Benefits – While contributing to the ever-growing success of PDI, we believe our employees should have peace of mind in all areas of life. We are delighted to offer our teammates significant benefits, including health, life, dental, and vision insurance.

Perks – We know that many companies offer competitive benefits. To make the experience at PDI more incredible, we offer many other incentives such as tuition assistance, on-site fitness centers, and the ability to work from home! Combine this with the flexibility to create your own schedule and a company-wide open-door policy, and you have an unforgettable career ahead.

At PDI, we take pride in hiring the best people for our team. Every teammate we add goes through a rigorous and thorough evaluation process, allowing both the potential hire and PDI team to decide if the union is a good fit. The diligence we put into this mutual decision-making process can take some time, but it’s a proven process that’s allowed PDI to grow into a welcoming community.

We’re always looking for talented, driven professionals who share our values. If you believe you’re a good fit at PDI, but don’t see a position posted that matches your skills and/or experience, please continue to check our site regularly. Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at PDI Software (Temple, TX) in May 2016.

    Interview

The interview process was over the phone, due to my inability to travel to Temple for an in-person interview. The interview was a group phone conversation with the VP of the department, the manager of the department, and another distinguished team member. Each person in the group had their own set of questions, pertaining to their individual skill sets.
