Mission Our mission is to ensure that animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, by advocating on behalf of all animals and by inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect.
Description We're the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) - the world’s oldest and largest animal protection organisation. For 200 years, we've been changing attitudes, behaviours and laws to revolutionise how society treats animals. As well as pets, that includes farm animals, wildlife, and animals used in science.
Every day, our passionate staff investigate cruelty and neglect, and rescue animals in urgent need across England and Wales. Our incredible network of hospitals, centres, branches, volunteers and partners work to rehabilitate, release or rehome a huge variety of species. And we work around the world, beyond borders, sharing our expertise with lawmakers, educators, professional bodies and people working with animals.
As animals face immense challenges – including the cost-of-living crisis, climate change and intensive farming – our dedicated workforce rises to meet them. In return, we aim to provide a rewarding, supportive and inspiring workplace. We firmly believe our best years are ahead of us. Together, we can create a better world for every animal.
