Agtegra Cooperative is a local agricultural cooperative headquartered in Aberdeen, South Dakota. It is owned by 7,000 farmers and ranchers, predominantly in North and South Dakota, with a network of over 70 locations and 850 employees. We are proud of our rich legacy of working and living in our local communities – where we focus on making meaningful impact in the areas of food security, agricultural education, and health and safety.

American Crystal Sugar Company

American Crystal Sugar Company is a grower-owned cooperative, where everything we do benefits our growers, our workforce, and our communities. Nestled in eastern North Dakota and northwestern Minnesota, the Red River Valley is home to nearly half of the nation’s sugarbeet-growing acres. Our grower-shareholders produce about 400,000 acres of sugarbeets each year. As the largest beet sugar manufacturer in the United States, we operate five sugar factories processing sugarbeets into all‐natural sugar, and we cut out waste by utilizing the entire sugarbeet for agri‐products such as molasses, sugarbeet pulp, and other byproducts.

Amalgamated Sugar

The Amalgamated Sugar Company turns beets into sweets. As a top US sugar producer, it processes sugar beets grown on about 180,000 acres in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. The company manufactures granulated, coarse, powdered, and brown consumer sugar products marketed under the brand name White Satin. It also provides private-label products for retail grocery chains. In addition, Amalgamated Sugar produces beet pulp, molasses, and other beet byproducts for use by food and animal-feed manufacturers. The company's roots reach back to 1915. Since 1997 Amalgamated Sugar has been owned by the Snake River Sugar Company, a cooperative composed of sugar beet growers in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.
