    Admin Assistant Interview

    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Specsavers (Birmingham, England (UK)) in August 2017.

    Interview

So I had generic interview questions without being offered water. I was further offered a trial shift which consisted of standing in front of house without being showed anything to do with the role. I was left to potentially stand there for 2 hours. This was not 'shadowing' in this space of time I realised it was not the advertised admin role. It was short staffed and badly managed with the phone ringing out and customers waiting wondering why I wasn'the serving them. They didn't have the time to show me any potential positive aspects to the role. This should not have been advertised as an admin role when it is more customer service.
