ProsBeautiful place to work at times. Some managers are great. If you are motivated there are opportunities for education and on the job training.
ConsSevere weather at times, ever changing politics. Pay is below LA county standards for those that commute from the south. Cronyism and nepotism. Poor performing employees are allowed to perform poorly
Advice to ManagementStaff is top heavy, lots of manager, directors, VP and not a lot of staff to address the actual work. Embrace a culture of trust and promote employees that perform well to retain good talent. Stop
I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at Tejon Ranch (Lebec, CA) in Jun 2015
InterviewI first met with the Controller, had a great convo that was to the point about the position and then met with the VP of Finance. Not as detailed as some but it seemed like they had gone over my resume previously in depth and were asking follow up questions to fill in the holes.
They asked for clarification of my skills and examples of my skills.1 Answers
