Swoop has a vision to automate the roadside assistance industry. This means providing the car and insurance industry with a way to enter details about people who have broken down, then automatically determining the best quality and fastest response from thousands of towers and their nationwide fleet of tow trucks all running our towing app.
We started Swoop with a vision to transform the local roadside assistance & towing industry. Nearly everyone has had a nightmare experience with a flat tire or breakdown, & we were no different. While other businesses like Uber were transforming local transportation, local towing was lagging behind. We asked, "If I can know exactly where my Uber driver is as they approach, why can't I know where my tow truck is when my car breaks down?" We set out to solve this problem by building SaaS for local towing companies, & we recently joined forces with Agero, the market leader in Roadside Assistance to bring our service to 80M American drivers.
