Foresight Group, formerly Foresight Venture Partners, provides venture capital primarily to technology companies. Its portfolio includes companies involved in manufacturing, IT services, environmental, retail, and communications. The group's investments include nanoscale engineering company Oxonica, retail payment systems designer Nomad, generator services provider Ozone, investment bank software designer BlueCurve, and telephone and energy services supplier Telecom plus. Foresight, which was founded in 1984 by Bernard Fairman and Peter English, manages four capital trusts and owns more than £90 million under management.
