As of 2021, KonaSL provides technology to fastest growing mobile finance technology and a one of a kind local currency service provider in the world. Systems we developed make daily 2 million payment transactions everyday and more than $1B transaction value every month. We have R&D laboratories on Payment, Blockchain, and Data Analytics where hundreds of subject matter experts are working relentlessly.
We started our journey as global R&D center of South Korean smart card manufacturer KONAI Co. in 2012. From KonaSL, we conceptualized, designed, and developed completely the ground breaking next generation product KonaPay back in 2015. With this product, Kona group launched digital payment service business globally starting and transformed the corporate identity to the platform service provider from a smartcard manufacturer. Following the sheer success of our R&D, we decided to transform our KonaSL entity to serve the local and international customers directly and started the journey of a complete business house.
