      Description Foncière des Régions wants to be the supreme layer of the land. The company develops and manages property such as offices, residential areas, and car parks throughout France. It owns about a quarter of Foncière des Murs, which specializes in medical properties such as retirement homes, clinics, hospital buildings, and leisure properties such as hotels, restaurants, cinemas, casinos, and amusement parks. In 2007 Foncière des Régions acquired the remaining 63% of fellow French property investment firm Bail Investissement that it didn't already own. The Batipart Group owns nearly 40% of Foncière des Régions.
