Among its services are mobile and wireline telephone (under the Tata Indicom brand), fixed wireless phones (Walky), public telephone booths, and Internet access (Photon). In addition, it owns the Virgin Mobile brand in India. TTSL has sales and distribution partnerships with such equipment providers as Motorola Mobility and ECI Telecom. It also provides wireless phone service through a joint venture with Japan-based NTT DoCoMo, which bought 26% of the company in 2009 for for $2.7 billion. Founded in 1996, TTSL is a subsidiary of conglomerate Tata Group.
