Operating primarily under the Houlihan's Restaurant & Bar name, the restaurants offer a variety of main dishes, including burgers, pasta, and steaks, as well as appetizers and salads. About 60 Houlihan's locations are franchised. In addition to its flagship chain, the company operates a small number of other dining concepts, including Bristol Seafood Grill and J. Gilbert's Wood-Fired Steaks. Restaurant firm Gilbert-Robinson opened the first Houlihan's restaurant in 1972. A management group owns 51% of the company.
