To make it more accessible, profitable, scalable, and also more socially equitable and environmentally conscious than the amateurs and businesses that preceded us. We foster positive change in rental housing and the communities in which we operate by supporting local residents, business owners and employees.
Avenue One is a disruptive force in US real estate; professionalizing the rental experience for thousands of families across the country. A “prop-tech scaleup” by definition, we are a full-suite service platform that creates Single Family Rental (SFR) homes by connecting an ecosystem of boots-on-the-ground, local partners to institutional financing. We are in the business of partnerships: finding, vetting and empowering local experts nationwide to find, buy, renovate, lease and manage properties on behalf of our clients.
We find and purchase properties and coordinate the efforts of our partners through a proprietary technology stack. This system takes in huge amounts of data at national and local levels, which combined with information about each individual house, gives us and our partners a competitive advantage in pricing, speed, and scale.
We’re a young business that’s experienced incredible growth. In less than two years we’ve gone from half a dozen intrepid folks in shared offices in New York city to a team of hundreds across the country and around the world. As we’ve grown, we’ve worked hard to maintain a culture of entrepreneurialism, resourcefulness, and self-reliance that got us off to a great start and will carry us into a better future.
