Description CBEM brings lasting, positive changes to the individuals with developmental disabilities we serve, some of whom experience mental illness.
CBEM’s Critical Intervention Service provides professional crisis services and individualized support to people diagnosed with developmental disabilities. Every individual’s needs are unique and specific in critical situations. At CBEM, we aim to help our clients reach a state of safety and stability by addressing their individual needs, collaborating with their existing support systems and recognizing new support systems.
CBEM’s primary goal is to work closely with our clients as well as their circles of support for as long as necessary to achieve long-term stability. We provide preventative services, behavioral observation and training, critical situation support through a 24/7 crisis line, and ongoing follow-up support.
