    The parking kiiiinda sucks... but not much they can do about it.

    Different companies to work for and chance to move up but I had to move.

    Decent pay for an easy job

    Cons

    As someone who was a member of leadership, the leadership at this company is horrible. Favoritism is very common, as well as burnout and no one is held accountable for anything. I left when I realized it was happening to me too, because they make it so easy to do nothing and have no consequences. There's a lot of negativity and a lot of complacency and it just...festers.

    Advice to Management

    Honestly, you need to clear out your TLs and probably a decent amount of your CSR2s as well. Either that, or start holding all of them accountable for actually doing their jobs.

    Great people, cool facilities, allows you to be innovative

    Cons

    Doesn’t pay comparable to other centers, no compensation for tenure, 2 weeks vacation regardless of length of time with company, no 401k

    Advice to Management

    Comp the area for cost of living and current pay for the same position. Pay people what they’re worth- especially if they are home grown. Figure out a 401k and tiered increase of PTO program

    Everyone does drugs with each other, or they’re sleeping together, smelly bathrooms, loud music

    Get yourself together before you try to get your team in order

    Pros

    Values are not instilled especially at The New York Times. Management can break so many rules, Customer Service Reps get written up.

    Cons

    The Air Conditioner often breaks & it gets very hot. Th floors have no windows that can open. You will overheat until the point of dizziness. You will be required to work.

    Well, you dont take advice.

    -challenges to win prizes
    -karaoke events
    -vending area
    -upbeat atmosphere

    Cons

    -Say one thing, do another
    -no work/personal life balance
    -strict "grading" scale for call details
    -lack of organization on the floor
    -failure to accommodate those working more than one job
    -weekend schedules with little flexibility

    Advice to Management

    Create more organized structure on the floor for call escalations and have more available agents for those escalations.
    Don't promise your employees something then not do it.
    More flexibility and accommodation for those working more than one job it comes to shift scheduling.
    Actually listen to someone's availability sheet.
