    Neutral Outlook

    I worked at 3HC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The company does great things for their patients.

    Cons

No formal training for new support training. Only on the job training from co-workers.
A lot of non-technology knowledge in their upper management. My suggestion would be for basic computer training for all non- technology personnel.

    Advice to Management

To be sure of all the facts are in place before judging your employees wrongs. Besure to take ownership of your role in the failure of those you let go.

None. As with any home health care job there are good days and bad days but I feel that this company handles this well and supports their employees in dealing with the everyday stress of healthcare work

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at 3HC part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

*Good people are involved in direct patient care. They are overworked and stressed, but most are truly invested in good patient care.

    Cons

*The company functions on a point system, you have to accrue a certain number of points every week or you get written up. The bar is set aggressively, though not impossible. However, if you have patient related issues that require additional amounts of your time, you still have to hit your quotas.
*Most of the managers work out of the corporate office in Goldsboro. They rarely, if ever, come out to the satellite offices. Management has little understanding of the realities of the individual offices.
*"Compliance" is all management cares about. The motto of the company, and I'm not kidding here, is literally "One for all, and all for compliance". You are expected to cover the company's butt at all times.

    Advice to Management

The corporate culture of all communication through email works wonderfully for corporate, and very poorly for those working in the field. It is difficult to get assistance with issues in a timely fashion from supervisors. Supervisors that manage individuals not at their location have no accountability to actually provide any support, and in my experience, they do not.

I have been working at 3HC full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The patients always come first at 3HC. This is an excellent company to work for with great benefits, competitive salary, and strong moral values shared by all.

    Cons

Employees must be self driven to maintain caseloads with a chronic population who possess only fair rehab potential. Marketing efforts need to address orthopedic opportunities with a consistency of information provided to the client upon admission.

    Advice to Management

Thank you for making 3HC a wonderful place to work! It truly is a family.

I have been working at 3HC full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

schedule flexibility, opportunities to work in various positions, feel good knowing you are providing a much needed service to the community, the management cares cares about employee morale, weekly and/or monthly staff meetings keep everyone informed and up to date.

    Cons

for the home visiting staff, the paperwork can be lengthy at times. They do not hire LPNs for home visits to help out when census is high.
