    Pros

The work was not very difficult. The pay was decent. Co-workers were ok.

    Cons

There are certain times when the hours are very long, and you are overworked.

    Advice to Management

Don't let your managers run all your lower level employees out of the door

    I worked at 4D full-time

    Pros

The software. Loyal developers. Talented technical engineers.

    Cons

The company is so mismanaged and disorganized from the top down. Managers spy on workers and check to see what they are doing while they are sneaking off doing nothing. No direction or leadership.

    Advice to Management

If you can't do your job or have the experience to do your job then just resign and let someone who knows what they are doing take over. Until this happens I don't see a positive future

    "Great product. Bad management"

    Pros

Used to have on Fridays. Great product. Most employees are nice to work with

    Cons

Tech notes are a waste of time. They create a lot of stress. Management is terrible. No one has a clue what to do. Management has created a culture of back stabbing, telling stories on each other and creating low morale.

Managers and senior employees come and go as they feel. No one checks on them yet they check on everyone else. A lot of them work from home and we all know they do nothing.

    Advice to Management

It's time to clean house if the company really wants to grow

    I worked at 4D full-time

    Pros

Fun to use technology, great customers who are devoted fans and a colorful company history. Many employees have worked here a long time, and well-established routines keeps the amount of overtime work to a minimum.

    Cons

Strict no-work from home policy makes it challenging for someone with a family or long commute. Don't hear much from the top management in France except to micromanage some details now and then.

    I worked at 4D full-time

    Pros

People were great. Opportunities to grow within company were there. You could take on side projects that could lead to career growth in your area of interest. Benefits package was nice.

    Cons

Salary was relatively low compared to similar jobs in the area. Management lacked direction. Sometimes felt shorthanded with lots of deadlines piled up.

    Advice to Management

Figure out which direction you want to go and don't let your employees wonder.

    I worked at 4D full-time

    Pros

The money sounds good at the time. Then the terms of employment kick in.
You do get to drive the company car to sites instead of your own.
You do get training sort of.

    Cons

The manager is stuck in the IT world of pre AWS Azure and Office 365.
Also he is highly erratic your best friend one moment then it's your fault if the impossible he promised can't be done.
Actually tells his employees to do things the long way to take more time.
Turns over staff quickly and without reason usually because he is having a bad day.

The training you get is not of that higher quality and the trainer is hard to understand.

    Advice to Management

Get someone who is in touch with reality to manage.
