Pros

The good reason about working at 5thColumn is the satisfaction of leaving 5thColumn and Ray Hicks!!

Cons

No respect, demeaning, the company actually makes money off of their employees, by not paying salaries and benefits. They treat their clients very poorly by making promise and then not being able to have the resources to cover that promise. The owner is a crook who claims that he is a security expert (with no Certs to show for).

Smoke and Mirrors

Pros

The marketing and branding of 5thColumn made this company appear to be a legitimate company. The idea of what the culture was supposed to be was better than what it actually is.

Cons

The founder is a coward with zero leadership skills. There is no vision. There is no product. There is no organization. Good employees either quit or are used and thrown to trash in place of inept, investor installed dinosaurs.

Pros

There are ZERO pros to working at 5thColumn. Any positive review that's on here was done so at the direction of Ray and/or other senior management to balance out the negative ones.

Cons

Everything is wrong with this company. 5thColumn is all smoke and mirrors. Terrible management, dishonest with employees and clients alike, poor communication. There is also no HR department to manage internal situations that might be of concern (sexual harassment, harassment, dishonesty, etc.) is just taken directly to Ray and he couldn't care less about the employees.
