I have been working at ACN full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If willing to work hard and put 100% of your work ethic into ACN, you'll have amazing results and a lifestyle you can only imagine having before.

    Cons

The only con there is, is if you don't put in the hard work to make it happen. Only then ACN will not work for you, just like anything in life. You don't work, you get no results. This opportunity and career choice is not for everybody and to those posting false information about the company not working or that it's not real. Why are you still in the company? Go find something better for yourself.

I have been working at ACN (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - residual income
    - company training's
    - positive work environment
    - freedom to work when you want

    Cons

Because ACN is a direct sales company, people get the wrong idea and accuse ACN of being a pyramid scheme. This isn't true, and can be frustrating.

I have been working at ACN part-time

    Pros

To earn a business franchise at $499 dollars in this modern world is just unbelievable. It is mostly online and you don't sell but redirect services. You don't need a location set up as we usually need for any other business like grocery stores, clothing stores or restaurants which saves you on rental, electricity and gas. I think it as an investment rather than expenses. It's a low risk business. I have been working for ACN for about 4 months now(part time) and I have been able to generate a fair income. I have some business partners and work as a team which is growing as time goes. Services we provide to customers are all essentials, day to day use and month to month. I receive plenty of trainings to fully understand the business model and services which helped me to explain and get customers. It is helping on my personal growth mentally. Generating income depends on the work I put into it to get customers and it's your business and you are the boss. This is fair to me. No work pays you until you work and that's the simple fact.some might succeed and some won't. It's working pretty well for me until now. You don't know things until you try and that's how I got started.

    Cons

    Don't have any so far

    Advice to Management

Need weekly trainings in every cities

I have been working at ACN (More than a year)

    Pros

ACN is a brilliant company to work for, it has been around for over 24 years and it is growing everyday, it now operates in over 25 countries. With over 300,000 representatives/Independent Business Owners as well as a revenue of over $1billion. With it’s organisation, structure, unilever compensation plan this is definitely one of the best MLM network marketing companies out there.
ACN has been ranked in the top 100 MLM/Direct selling companies 8 years in a row and it is now in top 20s consistently. If you have a good environment, a good positive, motivating network of people to help you grow and expand and someone you can learn from everyday then ACN is the company for you.
Just look at how much some of the people are making of course those that put the effort, commitment and growth will reap the benefits of residual income!

    Cons

It doesn't come easily for everyone; you have to work hard!

I have been working at ACN (More than a year)

    Pros

Great teaching and positive attitude. Someone always willing to pick you up when it's going tough. I'd say that's about it

    Cons

It's a pyramid scheme. You get 5 people to do something. They get 5 people to do something. And if they get 5 people then you get paid and keep getting paid. I don't see this lasting very long because the big companies will eventually sue. Plus it's so tough being the only white guy in the Cleveland area doing this. Says a lot about who believes in these pyramid schemes.

    Advice to Management

Quit using the term plugged in. Started sounding like a cult

I worked at ACN full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

A few years ago it was a good place to work with a wonderful employee environment

    Cons

Poor direction from Founders who seem to be losing their touch on the industry.

    Advice to Management

Recent mis-steps by management have caused a very precarious situation where they will be lucky to stay in business over the next few years.

    Pros

I worked for ACN for 5 years as an employee—not an independent sales rep. I enjoyed working with my peers and management up to VP-level.

As noted by others, Chip Barker is the CEO rather than Greg Provenzano as indicated below,

    Cons

My experience is that ACN is not entrepreneurial as others have suggested—although the founder/owners view the company as such. The "real" management team consists of the four founders plus a majority equity owner/employee. This makes for a bureaucratic ladened, slow decision-making environment that routinely reverses itself. These problems are manifested in executing tactical plans, let alone providing clear strategies. I would agree with other comments that ownership/executive team is not well equipped to make the company successful. I also question the long-term viability of the MLM sales channel.

    Advice to Management

The owners should move to a much less hands-on role and assess long-term plans.
