Pros

Good pay considering it's a tutoring company. Other big name college prep places will give you at least $10~20 less per hour. Administration easily accessible. Friendly atmosphere. Family-like if you are willing to reach out. Students are generally from well-off families and well-behaved for the most part. Some will be very enthusiastic about achieving good scores. Close to subway line 3 (orange line). Can have a life outside of the job. Andyprep's president, Andy, will arrange monthly faculty dinner/party, which is fun, and you get a chance to get to know the other teachers better.

Cons

If you are looking to get a bigger wage, don't seek a position at a company; find a private tutoring opportunity. You'll probably get double the pay. Teaching resources that are provided are error-prone, so you may have to do some reviewing beforehand to fix them before going into the class.

Pros

-33/hr pay for the summer with very little that is taxed (<3%) -fun working environment -good hours -can have a life outside of work -provides free housing in Seoul

Cons

-pay is not as good as some other hakwons, but still competitive enough -senior management largely absent and very detached from employees -very harsh consequences for being tardy to class (very very harsh)
